Open ChromeUpdater

Before you begin

• You are either 
  • Viewing the Elda shortcuts. See View the Elda Shortcuts.
  • Viewing the Elda applications. See View the Elda Program Files.

Steps to take

1. Locate and double-click ChromeUpdater.

   
   

2. A User Account Control (UAC) prompt may appearChromeUpdater is typically set to run with administrative privileges.
   
   Click Yes to continue.
   
   
3. If nothing appears to happen, ChromeUpdater may already be running in the background. See Open ChromeUpdater from the System Tray.

   

   
   

4. ChromeUpdater will check the connection to the database.

   

   
   

5. If ChromeUpdater cannot connect to the database.See
   
   

6. ChromeUpdater will checks for updates.

   

   
   

7. If updates are available, ChromeUpdater will prompt updates are available. See Update Elda Applications.

   

   
   

8. If no updates are available, ChromeUpdater will run in the background and will periodically check for updates, and can be found in the system tray.
