Background
This knowledge base article provides a detailed set of instructions on how to resolve the "Customer XXXX not found" error by setting up the customer account in their respective accounting systems.
Before you begin
- Ensure you received the notification email like the one below (sample screenshot below is for Neumanns. Similar email can be received by different customers depending on the accounting system that they're using):
How to resolve the error:

This means that the customer account is not yet set up in their accounting system (in this case, in Pronto).

You need to setup the customer account in your accounting system to resolve this error (in this case, you need to setup Customer 2002 in Pronto to resolve this error).

No further action should be required once the customer is established and the error should resolve on the next customer synchronization. This normally happens at intervals during the day.

Make sure to have this resolved before month-end to prevent further issues.
