Before you begin
- You have Login installed and configured. See our article on Requesting access to Elda (Chrome).
- You have the Advanced settings in the Login App selected.
Steps to take
- Configure the Advanced settings in the Login Application.
- Click on the Advanced button and click on the Settings button. This will open up the Settings For Window.
- Click on the USE VPN for the database Connections checkbox and the Main update database(applies after next successful login) then click on the Save button. You can now close the Settings for the window.
- Click on the Advanced button and click on the Settings button. This will open up the Settings For Window.
- Elda(Chrome)'s Database system is set up as a number of interconnected location or department-centric databases. For example, you may have a database at your local facility and a different database at your head office OR a database for each of the head offices in each state.
Select the Location or database in the system you wish to log into from the Server dropdown.
- Enter your Username.
- Enter your Password.
- Click OK.
If login is successful
If you are able to successfully log into the database with a username and password, then the Task complete window will appear with the message "User Log on details saved."
Steps to take
- Click OK.
- You will return to the main Login window and the person image will be blue indicating a successful login.
If login fails
If there is an issue signing in, an error message will appear.
Steps to take
- Click OK.
- You will return to the main Login window and the person image will be red indicating an unsuccessful log in.
- You can attempt your login again.
