Scanning a Manifest in Elda LoadScan

Before you Begin

• Ensure you have access to Elda LoadScan application.  If you don't see Elda LoadScan in your available Elda (Chrome) shortcuts, you may need to request access to it.  Please see our article on how to Request access to an Elda Application.
• Ensure you have a Manifest or Manifest No. you'll be loading.

Opening a Manifest

1. Scan the barcode on your Manifest Printout.

   

   
   or enter a Manifest number in the Barcode textbox.

   
   

2. This will open the Manifest for loading in Elda LoadScan.  If no items have been loaded, the Manifest Tab will be Red.

   

Scan Product Tags for Loading

1. Scan your items for loading using a 2D Barcode Scanner or by entering the tag number into the Scan Tag textbox and clicking the scan icon.

   
   

2. A window similar to the below will prompt you to scan employee tag in order to proceed. Scan your employee card barcode then select OK.
   
   
3. Once you scan your first item, the Manifest tab will change colour to Light Blue and the scanned item will be taken off the manifest item list.

   
   

4. The Job Completion Bar will also progress.

   

   
   

5. To show the items scanned, check the Show Loaded Items checkbox. 
   
6. Click the Refresh button. 
   
7. The items will now appear at the bottom of the Manifest list in Dark Green.

   
   

8. When loading is completed, the Manifest tab will change to Dark Green. The Job Completion Bar will also be at 100%.

   

Error Messages

If you scan an item you've already scanned, you'll see the message: Item Already Scanned.

If you scan an item not on your Manifest, you'll see the message: Tag [Tag Number Here] is not on this Manifest.

If you scan an item with an invalid tag, you'll see the message: [Tag Number Here] is not a recognised tag.
