End a Process

Before you start

• You have Task Manager open. See Open Task Manager.

Steps

1. Select the Details tab
2. Locate and select the process you want to end
3. Click End task
4. Task Manager will display a prompt for you to confirm you want to end the process
5. If you decide not to end the process, click Cancel
6. If you are sure you want to end the process, click End process
   Note: This will abruptly end the process and which may result in issues such as loss of data
