Mesh Galvanizing Calculation

This Knowledge Base Article provides the criteria on how Mesh Galvanizing is being calculated.

Before You Begin

• Ensure you are logged into Elda(Chrome).  See our article Log in to an Elda Database for more.
• Ensure you are logged into the Elda(Chrome) Scheduler Application.  See our article Getting Started with Scheduler for more.

Basis for Computation

1. Additional galvanizing weight is first calculated, which is added on to the item's weight.
2. Galvanizing cost is then calculated using the schedule Mesh Galv price per tonne over the total item weight.
3. Finally, galvanizing cost is added on to the base mesh price.
