Before you begin
- Open and save Teckla file onto your computer. It is handy to have it saved somewhere is easy access as we will be importing it onto Elda(Chrome).
- Ensure you have access to Elda(Chrome) Scheduler. If you don't see Scheduler in your available Elda (Chrome) shortcuts, you may need to request access to it. Please see our article on how to Request access to an Elda Application.
- Ensure you are logged into the Scheduler Application.
Import Teckla Schedules
1. From the Scheduler Interface, search relevant job number that Teckla is required to be imported for.
2. Right click on any schedule (When you import the file, it will create a new schedule) > Select ‘Import Files’ > Teckla File > [choose file format] in this case it is excel.
3. Import the Teckla file (You saved this to your computer in step 1).
4. The below window will appear. Here you can tick one of the following:
- Append items to Current Schedule (schedule#): This will adjust the items currently on the schedule to the imported Teckla quantity/products.
- Overwrite Current Scheduler (schedule#): This will erase all the content currently on the selected schedule and replace it with the Teckla data.
- Create New Schedule and Import Items: This will require you to enter a schedule description.
Preview all the information within the window, it will look different to the original excel document as it has consolidated the information into Chrome format.
You can View individual worksheet or all worksheets using the source workbook dropdown highlighted below.
5. Select “import” to import worksheet into Scheduler > Ok.
6. This will now create a new schedule with the imported data.

Hi!
I've been using this tekla import and it works great!
And now I am trying to provide information for the last 5 columns from "Galv" to "Comment" but whenever I import my file, it all shows "0" even though my Excel file have values in it.
Can you please help me with this? Thanks!
