Assign a Lot Number to One or More Blocks

Background

Sometimes a block will appear in ChromeInventory without a Lot Number assigned to it.

Before you begin

  • You are viewing Block Status.
  • You have in view the blocks to which you want to assign a lot number.
  • You have permission to assign lot numbers to blocks (S041).
  • You are comfortable selecting one or more rows in tables. See Selecting Table Rows.

Steps to take

  1. Select the block or blocks to which you want to assign a lot number.

  2. Right-click any selected row then select Assign Lot Number.

If you do not see Assign Lot number it is likely you do not have permission to assign lot numbers to blocks (S041).

  3. A prompt will appear for you to enter the lot number.

  4. If you do not want to assign a lot number to the selected block or blocks, click Cancel.

  5. Enter the lot number you want to assign to the selected block or blocks and click OK.

  6. The prompt will disappear and the lot number will be assigned to the previously selected block or blocks.
