How to Adjust Price of Selected Products on Multiple Price Matrixes

Before you begin

  • Ensure you are logged into the Elda (Chrome) Products application. If you don't see Products in your available Elda (Chrome) shortcuts, you may need to request access to it. Please see our article on how to Request access to an Elda Application.

Steps to follow

  1. Go to Product Pricing tab (right side of the window).

  2. Select the required product type and sub-class using the Tabs on the page and the Product type filter drop-down.

  3. The selected records can be further reduced by selecting individual or groups of records by selecting the Row Headers on the relative product grid.
    1. To select multiple continuous items, click on the first row and while holding down the Shift key on your keyboard, click on the row of the last item.
    2. To select multiple items that are not next to each other, press the Ctrl key on your keyboard and click on the rows for inclusion in your selection.
  4. When the required records have been selected, use the right mouse button context menu to select “Adjust across Matrixes."

  5. The following screen shows a brief product summary and details of the pricing set in different price matrixes. By default all active price matrixes are selected.

  6. If the column header is struck through and has the suffix of Locked, there are jobs currently using the Price matrix and so will be excluded from any bulk price changes. You can hide the locked price matrixes by checking the “Hide locked matrixes” checkbox at the foot of the form.

  7. The “Select Matrixes” button will allow a broader selection of price matrixes to be used.
    1. You can view deleted matrixes and reorder the records by clicking the column header to be sort by.

Once the required matrixes are selected click the “Use Selected” button to load the prices against the different matrixes for the selected products.

  8. Once the required products and matrixes are displayed the pricing for each pair can be simply overtyped.

  9. The listing has a right mouse button context menu that also allows selection of all records. Records can also be selected for modification by selecting the row header buttons in either the product details or matrix listing grids.

  10. Once selected you can modify the product pricing using tools in the right mouse button context menu:

    1. Adjust price by % will increase or decrease the selected price by the entered percentage amount. To decrease pricing use a negative percentage value.
Percentage values are expressed as fractions so 10% should be entered as 0.1.

    2. Adjust price by $ will adjust the price on each pair by the amount specified.

    3. Adjust price per Tonne will equate the specified amount to the selected items shipping weight and apply a per ton increase (or decrease for negative values).

  11. Once the prices have been entered as required, press the “Save Changes” Button to commit the changes. A brief message summarizing how many records were altered will appear.

  12. Alternatively, if an input error has been made, the changes can be rolled back to the last saved version by using the right mouse button context option of “Revert to last saved”. You do not need to select any products for this action, it will simply discard any changes made since the last time the “Save Changes” button was pressed in the current session.
