How to Edit a Product in Elda Products

Background

Elda Products is an administration application that allows business administrators, stock controllers and inventory managers to create and manage the parameters of products used throughout the Elda (Chrome) Application Suite.

Before You Begin

• Ensure you are logged into Elda(Chrome).  See our article Log in to an Elda Database for more.
• Ensure you access the Products app in Elda(Chrome) Folder. See our article Getting Started with Products for more.

Steps to Follow

• How to Change Sundry Weights of a Product in Elda Product

1. Click on the Sundries tab in the Products Application. This will open up the Sundries Information.
   
   

2. Type in the Product code inside the textbox named Filter code where the weight needs to be changed.
   PLEASE NOTE:  We can't change or edit the Product code in the existing product section.

   

   
   

3. Click on the Grey colour section with the black arrowhead, the left-hand side of the Sundry Code cell from the selected Sundry  Line. The red arrow shows the Product weight that needs to change.
   PLEASE NOTE:

   1. Your mouse pointer will change into an arrow when your mouse is over this grey section. (For Example:- Product Code: BPOLY   Weight: 65 ) 
      
      

   2. We can also change the  Sundry Item Type by clicking on the checkboxes in the Fixing Accessory column.  

      • Click on the checkbox to change the  Sundry Item type to be set as a Fixing Accessory Item Type.

      • Keep the check box unticked to set the Sundry Item type to be set as a Building Products Item Type.
        
        
        

4. Click on the Product line and change the weight to 65 and then click on the second line to save the product weight.

   

• How to Change Mesh Weights of a Product in Elda Product.

1. Click on the Mesh tab in the Products Application. This will open up the Mesh Information.

2. Enter the Product code in the Filter code where the weight needs to be changed.

   

3. Click on the Grey colour section with the black arrowhead, the left-hand side of the Mesh Code cell from the selected Mesh Line. The red arrow shows the Product weight (Sheet Mass) needs to change.
   PLEASE NOTE: Your mouse pointer will change into an arrow when your mouse is over this grey section. (For Example:- Product Code: SL41   Weight : 35)

   
   
   

4. Click on the Product line and change the weight to 35 and then click on the second line to save the product weight.
