How to Change Sundry Pricing in Products

Background

Elda Products is an administration application that allows business administrators, stock controllers and inventory managers to create and manage the parameters of products used throughout the Elda (Chrome) Application Suite.

Before You Begin

• Ensure you are logged into Elda(Chrome).  See our article Log in to an Elda Database for more.
• Ensure you access the Products app in Elda(Chrome) Folder. See our article Getting Started with Products for more.

Steps to Follow

1. Click on the Sundries tab in the Products Application. This will open up the Sundries Information.
   
   
   
2. Locate the Sundry line where the price needs to be changed. Sundry Line can be located by typing in the Sundry Code in the Filter Code Seach Box to narrow down the Sundry Item.
   For this example, we will use  Z Bars with the following information.
   1. Code: ZB500
   2. Description: N12 Z Bar 150X500X150
   3. Sundry Type: Z Bars 
      
      
3. Click on the Grey colour section with the black arrowhead, the left-hand side of the Sundry Code cell from the selected Sundry  Line.
   PLEASE NOTE: Your mouse pointer will change into an arrow when your mouse is over this grey section.
   
   
   
4. Right-click on any part of the selected  Sundry Line. The Activate/ De-Activate option will display.
   PLEASE NOTE:  By clicking on the Activate/ De-Activate option the item can be deactivated or activated.
   
   
   1. Deactivate a Sundry Line
      1. Right-click on the Sundry Line and click on the Activate/ De-Activate option.
         
         
         
      2. Click on the OK button from the Chrome Products updated window.
         
         The Products application will Deactivate the Sundry Line. The selected Sundry Line will disappear from the screen.
         
         
   2. Activate a Sundry Line
      1. Click on the Show Deleted tick box. The Products Application will display all the deleted Sundry Lines.
          
      2. Typing in the Sundry Code in the Filter Code Seach Box to narrow down the Sundry Item. (For this example, the Sundry Code is ZB500).
         
         
         
      3. Click on the Grey colour section with the black arrowhead, the left-hand side of the Sundry Code cell from the selected Sundry  Line.
         PLEASE NOTE: Your mouse pointer will change into an arrow when your mouse is over this grey section.
         
         
         
      4. Right-click on the Sundry Line and click on the Activate/ De-Activate option. This will open up the Reprice Product Window.
         
         
         
      5. Enter the new Sundry Line price into the Reprice Product window and click on the Reprice button.(For this example, the price is 1,200  ).
         
         

 Elda(Chrome)will display that the price is changed for the selected Sundry Code.

 Elda(Chrome)will confirm the price was updated successfully for the selected Sundry Code. According to the entered price, the Products Application will change the price relating to the Sundry Line selected in any active price matrix.

NOTE: If you reactivated a code but it does not show in service charges, make sure that the checkbox for Service Item is ticked.

How to Confirm Price Change of Sundry Line

1. Navigate to the Mesh and Sundry Pricing Tab under the Products Application.
   
   
   
2. Click on the Sundry tab from the top of the Mesh and Sundry Pricing Tab.
   
   
   
3. Locate the Sundry Code. (For this example, the Sundry Code is ZB500 and we used 1,200  as the price) . According to the entered price, the Products Application will change the price relating to the Sundry Line selected in any active price matrix.
