Issue
Each time you open an Elda app (such as Scheduler or Invoicer), an email arrives shortly after, reporting the app is out of date and to update as soon as possible.
Here is an example email I received for having an out of date Invoicer app.
Here is the content from the email, provided for to be picked up in a search:
This is an automated email.
Our records indicate that your Invoicer system is out of date.
Recent activity indicates you are using version 1:8:44 while the current version is 1.8.52.
Please use the updating system to bring your system up to date as soon as possible.
Causes
A new version of the app is released
From time to time, updates to the various Elda applications are released. When the new version is released, each time you start the app, the app will check if it is the latest version and if not, will fire off an email to notify you the app is out of date.
Something goes wrong updating the app
Occasionally we have seem something goes wrong when ChromeUpdater attempts to update the app, resulting in the new version being registered but app itself not being updated. Then, ChromeUpdater will check the registered versions of the app, find it matches the database, and not offer to update the app.
Solution
A new version of the app is released
- Try to update Elda applications. See Update Elda applications.
Something goes wrong updating the app

- Open the application generating the out of date notification and watch for an out of date notification
- If an out of date notification arrives, try to reinstall all Elda applications. See Reinstall all Elda applications.
