Error: ClassFactory cannot supply requested class

Issue

Occasionally, when taking certain actions in Elda apps, a run-time error occurs. 

Below is the content of the error message to be searchable:

Run-time error '-2147221231 (80040111)':

Automation error

ClassFactory cannot supply requested class

Cause

While the exact cause of the issue is not known, it appears to be an issue with DLL registration.

Solution

1. Reinstall the affected Elda application. See Reinstall an Elda Application.
   
   
2. If reinstalling the affected Elda application did not work, reinstall all Elda applications. See Reinstall all Elda Applications.
   
   
3. If reinstalling all Elda applications did not work, start a conversation with us.
