How to Cold Transfer Calls on Teams

This knowledge base article provides steps in making cold/blind transfer for voice calls and video calls on Microsoft Teams.

Before You Begin

• Ensure you are logged in to an Office 365 account (https://www.office.com/)
• You have installed and have logged in to Microsoft Teams on your computer. See our article How to Install Microsoft Office for more.

Steps to follow

1. While in a call, select More Actions (...) > Transfer.
   
   

2. Type in the name of the person you want to transfer the call to.

   
   

3. Select the name from the drop-down list. Then click on Transfer.
   

   
   

4. Microsoft Teams should display Transferringwhen transfer is initiated. The call will end once transferred successfully.
