How to Set Up Signatures in Foxit PDF Reader

Background 

This knowledge base article provides information on how to manage your signatures in Foxit PDF Reader.

Before You Begin 

• Ensure you have opened your PDF document in  Foxit PDF Reader. 

Steps to Follow

1. Select the Protect option and click on the Fill & Sign option from the top menu section in Foxit PDF Reader.
   
   
   
   You will be navigated to the Fill & Sign section in  Foxit PDF Reader.
   
    
2. Click on the Manage Signatures button from the options. Then click on Create Signature under the Manage Signature window to start creating a new signature.
   PLEASE NOTE:  Enter your signature using any of these methods(Type, Draw, Import, Paste and Online). For this example, we will use the Type in Method.
   
   
   
3. Enter your Signature under the Create Signature window and click on the OK button to save your signature.
   
   
   Foxit PDF Reader will navigate back to the Manage Signature window. Foxit provides the option to Add, Edit and Delete signatures in this window. Click on the Close button to close this window.
   
   

   Functions	How to use
   Add Signature	Click on the Add button to start creating a new signature.
   Edit Signature	Click on the Edit button next to your existing button and update your signature.
   Delete Signature	Click on the Delete button next to your existing button and update your signature.

   
   
   
4. Select the signature you need from the Manage Signature window.
   
   
5. Drag and drop on to a location of your choosing and change signature size.
   1. Click on the blue box on the bottom right hand of the signature and drag your mouse to change your signature size.
   2. Press on the ESC button from your keyboard to take you out of signature mode(You can find the ESC button on the top left corner of your keyboard).
