How to Enable Internet Explorer Mode in Microsoft Edge for Bestnet

Background

This knowledge base article provides a step-by-step guide on enabling Internet Explorer mode in the Edge browser.

Before You Begin

• Ensure Edge browser is installed on your PC -  See our article on How to Install Microsoft Edge Browser for more. 

Steps to Follow

1. Click on the Windows button and type Microsoft Edge on your Windows search bar. Select Microsoft Edge Browser from the search menu and this will open up the  Microsoft Edge Browser on your PC.
   
   

2.  Click on the Options (  ...  )  button in the top-right corner of the Edge browser and select Settings.
   
   

   
   

3. Click on Default Browser on the left and side menu and  then click on Allow under the  Allow sites to be reloaded in the Internet Explorer mode option on the Default Browser page.
   
   

   
   

4. Click on the Restart button when prompted to do so.
   
   
   

5. Click the Add button under the Internet Explorer mode pages option and enter the Bestnet URL in the Add a page popup window and click on the Add button.
   
   

   
   PLEASE NOTE:  Microsoft Edge will only load in Internet Explorer mode for the next 30 days. You will follow have to add the Bestnet URL again to the Internet Explorer mode pages after 30 days.
   
   PLEASE NOTE: Bestnet will open up with an Internet Explorer icon on the left-hand side. This indicates that the page is open in Internet Explorer Mode.
