How to Install Microsoft Edge Browser in Windows

This knowledge base article provides a step-by-step on how to install Microsoft Edge if it's not available on your PC. 

Before You Begin

• Ensure to check the computer version.  See our article on How to Tell If You Have a 64-Bit or 32-Bit Computer for more.

Steps to Follow

1. Click on the Windows button, and type Microsoft Edge on your windows search bar.
   PLEASE NOTE: Microsoft Edge is supposed to be automatically installed to your PC/laptop (as long as it runs in Win10 and newer). If it is not visible in the search results you will need to install it on your PC.
   
   

   
   

2. Use another browser available on your PC (Google Chrome, Firefox) and navigate to the Microsoft Official Website.
   
   

   
   

3. Click the DOWNLOAD for Windows button and select your operating system to start the download of Microsoft Edge. You will be prompted to accept the privacy statement from Microsoft. Click on Accept and download button to continue with the download.
   
   
   

4. Click the MicrosoftEdgeSetup.exe from your browser's downloads. Alternatively, MicrosoftEdgeSetup.exe can be found in your PC Downloads.
   
   
   
   PLEASE NOTE: Microsoft Edge Browser will be automatically installed on your PC.
   
   
   
   

5. Click on the Windows button, and type Microsoft Edge on your windows search bar to locate Microsoft Edge.
