How to Rectify File Explorer Preview Pane Issue (Foxit PDF)

Background

Users can't preview PDF files in their preview pane in File Explorer. 

Steps to take

1. Click on Windows Start, in the Search box, type command prompt or cmd, press Enter. 

2. In the search result, locate Command Prompt, right-click, and select Run as administrator.

3. Choose Yes, if there is a "User Account  Control' confirming message. 

4. In the command line, input
   regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\Shell Extensions\FoxitPrevHndlr.dll", press Enter.
   regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\Shell Extensions\FoxitPrevHndlr.dll", press Enter. 

5. You will see a Success message displayed on the screen if the registration succeeded.

Select two commands according to the Foxit application you have installed.
