Deleting a Section

Before you begin

Warning: If you proceed with deleting the section, the section and every count in the section will be permanently deleted.

Below are the steps to take to delete a section. These steps begin with the following assumptions:

• You are viewing the section you wish to delete. (See Find and View a Section.)

Steps to take

Take the following steps to delete a section:

1. Tap on the delete button (bin symbol, located towards the top of the) or tap on the Delete Section button (located in the Actions section.)
   
   You are prompted if you want to delete the section.
   Warning:  If you proceed with deleting the section, the section and every count in the section will be permanently deleted.
   
2. If you want to delete the section, tap on Delete. The section is deleted. You are taken to the list of sections in the stocktake or, if there are no sections in the stocktake, you are taken to the stocktake.
   
   
3. If you do not want to delete the section, tap on Cancel. The section will not be deleted and you will be left viewing the section.
